To Start with Looks adorable very Neat precision engineered edges with Aluminium body.

At this price it’s a must buy product compared to the technical aspects with others charging very high for same technical aspects.

1) Attractive design. 2) Very Light weight. 3) Comparitivitely Reasonable price. 4) Current technology. 5) Super fast performance and finger print sensor. 6) Technically very good , provided anybody can use like students, office works and entertainment. 7) Great display and sound. 8) Very fast Charging.

1) Even though the pop up camera feature is nice but the camera position is not that great since we need to adjust and sit far and setup the sitting angle.

2) Additional Ports could have been needed.

Otherwise this is very good laptop provided the price tag with attractive design anybody would grab it at any given point of time who really looking forward for advanced better nice laptop.

Always in love with Honor❤️ Pros 1.Stylish design. 2.Superb display with great viewing angles. 3.Compact chager (can carry easily while travelling). 4.Finger print works like a flash. 5.Speakers are very good (Rarely u see a laptop with a good sound in the market). 6.Customer Service….Door pick up service (explained to me when i bought a 9xpro) is a good initiative… Don’t have to bother where the service centres are located. Cons 1.Pop up camera… The idea is good in the view of security… But u have to look at the cam not to the screen while talking 2.Hope other variants of 512gb shows up in market..Should have added expandable memory slot…But this price for 256gb is worth for ur money compared to other regular brands

Nice product

Reviewing after using for 10 days…

1.Display- The most important thing in a laptop is display. I am not disappointed by the quality of the display but it is good, not the best but considering the price point it is above average. Viewing angles are OK, picture quality too. It is an TN panel not an IPS one so don’t expect so much. It is 14inch 1080p display.

2.Design- Here, I am not only impressed but surprised too. The quality of the plastic used in it is good. And the design is just awesome. The edge of the display are really thin and gives it a modern look. Weight distribution is good too. What makes it unique in this price point is the “Argo Lift Hinge” it lifts up the laptop base by 2° which helps in both cooling and typing. I am really happy with the design.

3.Performance- In this price bracket most of the laptop comes with either 8th gen intel i5 or i3 10th gen but in this laptop Asus made a perfect decision by going with Ryzen 5 2nd gen(3500u) Processor. Which is not only good in performance but also better in gpu than intel. The Radeon Vega 8 Graphics helps you to play most of the modern games at low to medium settings and able to do video editing, not the professional one but normal one. Now, the technical specs are it is Ryzen 5 3500u 2nd gen. AMD’s processor built on 12nm process and comes with zen+ architecture, it has 4 cores/8 threads and the most importantly Radeon Vega 8 Graphics clocked at 1200mhz or 1.2Ghz with 8 cores and 2gb of memory. It is really best in performance in this price point.

3.Memory and Storage-It comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM with a frequency of 2400mhz. Now, memory is upgradable but one thing to note that their are one pairs of ram in this laptop so 4gb+4g but one in soldered to the board so only one stick is upgradable and its max support is 12GB so you will be only able to replace one 4GB stick with 8GB with same frequency.

Another thing is that though their is a graphics in this laptop but it is not dedicated, so it uses laptop’s ram for processing. We actually get 6gb out of 8gb (2gb for graphics card). If you go max out at 12gb you will be going to get 10gb max. It is OK for most of the normal users.

The storage in this system is fabulous. It comes with a 512GB nvme m.2 ssd out of which 477 gb is usable and 450gb after installing windows what we get. It is really fast and apps opens just with a click. Everything runs really smooth. Their is an option for installation another 2.5inch drive.

4.trackpad and Keyboard- Actually I am not very happy with the trackpad because of its small size but don’t get me wrong it works just fine and comes with gesture support too.

I like the keyboard but it is not full size. The key board is really good with 1.3mm key travel. This is a chicklet style keyboard. Typing in dark isn’t a problem due to backlight option with 3 mode brightness.

  1. Cooling-Many laptop comes with a fan which sounds horrible and sounds like jet engine but it comes with a very silent fan and it also ramps up in heavy load and keeps the laptop pretty cool all the time.

6.Additional Features- It has a pretty good finger print scanner placed above the trackpad. It has pretty silent fan. Good quality speaker. Good design. Support fast charging 60%in 49mins.

7.Battery Backup- Really Really disappointed with battery backup, with normal usage it lasts only for 3 to 4 hours and with gaming only for 2 hours which is not great. So if you plan to use it for office keep your adapter with in the bag. The adapter is really small and light weight so it shouldn’t be a problem.

  1. Gaming- I ran GTA 5, PUBG Mobile, PUBG PC Lite which it handles smoothly with fps of 50 to 60 approx. With low to medium settings. It is not for hardcore gamers, for casual gamings it is OK.

9.Conclusion- So for whom this laptop is? It is for student, office, home users because with 1080p display watching content or productivity or browsing web or playing causal games it is good. It handels day to day task really easily. In this price point it is good.

Hit a like if you liked my review.

Budget friendly…

Disclaimer : This review is going to be huge enough but please read it all for a better insight; I am sure it will really be helpful.

First of all I would like to mention the reasons for choosing it over other laptops of same range and performance :

  1. Storage : 512 GB SSD + 2.5 SATA expansion slot for 1 TB. I was not sure of a slot in HP eq0024au, so I chose this.
  2. RAM : 8 GB as 4 GB soldered + 4 GB replacable with 8 GB, so maximum you can get is approx 10 GB out of 12 GB coz of Vega 8.
  3. Build quality : Good quality plastic body; although the hinge creaks sometimes I believe they are fixed tightly and are not so volatile. HP can be trusted build quality wise.
  4. Keyboard : No other brand in the same price range gives a backlit keyboard. Apart from that the keyboard is really nice with decent key travel.

So, now giving ratings to the features :

1) Display 3.0 : The display disappoints. The colours are dull, vertical viewing angles bad. Only good thing is thin bezel design which looks cool but that isn’t an advantage. Display in other laptops of this range in increasing order – HP eq0024au < HP dk0093au (IPS Brightview i.e. gloss) < Acer Aspire 5 (IPS anti glare).

2) Keyboard 4.5 : Acer aspire 5 doesn’t have dependable keyboard according to the reports so far. HP ones are always good.

3) Trackpad 4.5 : Responsive as well as with fingerprint reader. 😁

4) Speakers 4.0 : Haters please buy a home theater. Good sound quality and decent up volume, doesn’t distort like HP’s. I read some reviews with 2 or 3 stars stating nothing but only bad speakers, God please save them.

5) Battery 3.0 : To keep the weight less, they have given a small battery with backup of 4.5 hrs approx while browsing. HP has slightly better and Acer has slightly better than HP.

6) Camera : Managable, you won’t get any better in this range.

7) Connectivity : Adequate number of ports but I wish it had 1 more USB 3.0. Wifi Ac 5.0 dual band which HP does not give sadly so you need to insert a D-link dual band adapter of Rs.1200 approx in HP.

Now, talking about the main competitors, the two popular HP laptops – eq0024au and dk0093au. Both have slightly better batteries and better displays (dk0093au has IPS). Actually, the main culprit is the great sales support of HP, so great that on one day these laptops have only 1 slot for RAM and the 8 GB is replacable by 16 GB; on another day they say there is an empty M2 slot for upgrading memory, I guess if the M2 slot is for RAM ? It seems as if they do not care what they do.

Also, HP needs to improve in areas like not cutting costs of wifi, backlit keyboard. I assure that if HP improves in these areas, they will surely be the bestsellers.

Now, my reasons for giving 3 stars to this laptop are not only display and battery but the worst packaging ever. The laptop was only safe in its brand box but without any foam cushions the box was moving in the free space of the outer packaging. The outer packaging was distorted from three corners, the Flipkart tape was worsely applied. This packaging really frightened me.

Actually, this is my replaced laptop 😑. In the first one, some booting problem arised. The first one didn’t ask for the security questions even at the setup; when I received the replaced one, I came to know about this difference.

P.S. – I had read most of the reviews by other users and I am really thankful to them for providing genuine information to others.

Thank you. Let me know if you find it helpful. 🤗

Go for it at 39K

Straight to the point.

Ryzen 5 with Vega Graphics . Very Good for daily uses , lag free when uses single task at a time

While Editing Heats, Battery backup is above avg for the compact size.

MAIN POINT : Exhaust fans are one back side (not bottom) . So when screen is opened the hot air flows on to the screen . For Proper Understanding look at the image added .

Close all the background apps when working on Primary Softwares( Adobe Premier,Light room ,Solid Works,Catia)

Definitely wont recommend for Blender software users .

Out of 512Gb SSD – 475gb is what we get.

8GB ram they mentioned ,but 2gb is dedicated to Graphics , So we get 6gb .

Expandable upto 12gb (according to them).

But when expanded to max [RAM 10GB + 2GB Graphics]

Viewing angles (LEFT 2 RIGHT 180deg is good) , (Viewing from top or bottom is bad), TF Screen (Not Ips ,So dont expect viewing angles to be great ) Anti-Glare Display

Opens upto 120-130degree around ( I dont have protractor to find exact value)

Ergo lift is Good ,when placed on Plain Surface , If you’re using placing in lap (no use)

Nano Edge (0.7mm bezel around , i dont have scale to find exact thickness)

Speakers: Initially I felt My Pixel 2xl sounds better than this, but after changing some settings, Volume boosted.

Sound is above average (beacuse of bottom firing speakers feels low)

Keytravel is decent. Decent Keyboard, No Numeric Keyboard

Backlit Keyboard(3 stops of brightness)

Small Trackpad(with FingerPrint on Top Right )

Fingerprints works like Champ

2Usb ports only (3.0+2.0) Type C available. MicroSd Slot HDMI

WiFI 5,Bluetooth available (Common)

Peacock Blue is definetly a Good Colour , But Grey is Simple and Minimal

Final Words

Just for daily users with Compact desgin and Portability its great, Not Recomended for heavy users because ram (Max expansion 10GB)
