Speak Up For SSC Railway Students: #SpeakUpForSSCRailwayStudents is a digital campaign started by teacher Ramo, Abhinay Sharma among others. Many students and teachers have come forward in support of the candidates of SSC and Railways for conducting the examination in a fair way and within the time limit.
Apptrix Classes, CEO and Founder Ramo has appealed to all the students preparing for SSC and Railway exams to come forward and tweet regarding the slow process of SSC and Railway exams.
Every year millions of aspirants apply for the govt recruitment exams with a dream of working for the state or central government. People invest a lot of time and hardship with the aim of cracking these exams. If govt. recruitment agencies like SSC and Railway will not conduct the examination then it would result in wastage of aspirants valuable time and also will lead to huge unemployment. This is the reason for #SpeakUpforSSCRailwayStudents #SSCdeclareCGLresult campaign.
SSC CGL 2018 Tier 3 Issue: SSC CGL 2018 Tier 3 was conducted in December 2018. However, the result is not yet declared. It is over 8 months since the tier 3 was conducted. Students are complaining that previously SSC used to take around 1-2 months to check all the copies of tier 3. But this has not been the case for 2018 CGL. There hasn’t been any solid reason given by the commission either for the delay.
SSC Officials: They fought us in 2017. They’r weak and can be defeated easily.
SSC and Railways Aspirants: They’ve never fought us. NOT US UNITED!

The rising tension among students is also due to lower vaccancy. Over the last 5-8 years, the vaccancy for these exams have decreased rapidly.
SSC CGL aspirants have witnessed lot many changes in terms of vacancy. Each year vacancy number keeps on varying as in 2015, a total of 8,561 vacancies were released which increased in the following year to 10,661 in 2016. The year 2017 followed the same pattern as vacancies first decreased to 8,121 then increased to 11,271 in the consecutive year of 2018. The below graph illustrates vacancy variation over the past 5 years:
Railway Exam Issue: The form filling of Railway NTPC and Group D exam started in 2019. About 2.5 crore applications were received by railway for various posts in Indian railway for NTPC and Group D exams. However, no exam has been conducted till now. Leave the exam, even agency (that will conduct exam) has not been formed till now by railway board. The railway board and the government have maintained silence over this exam.
RRB NTPC AND RRC GROUP D Vaccancy details and number of students applied
Post | Number of Vacancies | Total Applications Received | Notification Release Date |
---|---|---|---|
RRB NTPC | 35,208 | 1,26,30,885 | 28th February 2019 |
RRC Group D | 1,03,769 | 1,15,67,248 | 12th March 2019 |
Now students are demanding that these exams should be conducted ASAP and the CGL 2018 Tier 3 result should be declared within one week by the commission. Students have planned for a mega twitter campaign on 1st September demanding the declaration of SSC CGL 2018 Tier 3 result ASAP. The twitter hashtag for the same has been selected as #SSCdeclareCGLresult
